Department of Computer Science and Engineering:
“Thinking beyond box is the quality required
by a student who is interested to move into a major Corporate”. Keeping the
same in mind continuous Quest of the CSE Department is to upgrade their
students in their lateral thinking skills.
The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering was established in the year 2001-2002 with an annual intake of
120 members. The Computer Science Department is equipped with three
laboratories, an Internet gateway, a Server Room and a facility for scanning
and printing, spread across an area of 3,500 sq.ft. Each laboratory has 72
computer systems connected to the campus-wide LAN. The laboratories are
equipped with various software Linux, Windows, C, C++, Oracle, UML, Visual
Studio, Java, and Case Tools.
The Department of Computer Science is
continuously striving for keeping up its mission of imparting Education of
high standards along with skills training to their students to make them
more employable. To have a practical training in whatever
the student learns, the CSE Department
is equipped with the following laboratories:

Advanced Programming Lab
This academic year’s fest was conducted by
the CSE Department with the name of ABACUS. ABACUS is the fast
means of calculation, as its name goes so is the CSE Department. The
Department of CSE with a great enthusiastic spirit conducted their Technical
& Cultural fest on 26th March 2009 at 10.00 A.M.
Mr. Vikram Thakur Ad. Manager from Indian School of Business was the Chief
Guest on that day. Dr. K. Subbaratnamaiah, Director, Tirumala Engineering
College and Prof. C.V. Narasimhulu, HOD, ECE & Principal attended the
program and addressed the students as a part of the celebrations. Students
participated in various competitions both Curricular and Extra Curricular.
“Recognition is very important for a student to develop”, bearing this in
mind the students were awarded prizes based upon their performance in
academics and also the cultural events. Students were appreciated for
participating in the events on the eve of the Fest. As a part of Poster
Presentations the following alluring and knowledge based models were
demonstrated by the students.
