Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
Electrical Engineering though traditional,
continues to be the most powerful branch. It is the source with out which no
industry can function in an efficient manner.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tirumala
Engineering College was started in the year 2002 with an intake of 60
students. In addition, there is an intake of six students under free seat
(for economically poor) and six students of Diploma Holders as lateral entry
at second year level.
The department is equipped with all the Laboratories meeting the requirement
of the curriculum prescribed by JNTU. These include Electrical machines Lab,
Power Electronics Lab, Electrical Measurements Lab, Control Systems Lab,
Electrical Circuits Lab and Simulation of Electrical Systems Lab. The
students can carry out experiments independently to have the feel of
practical knowledge of the subjects they had studied in the classroom.
The department has well qualified, experienced, committed and dedicated
staff to impart the technical knowledge and guide the students in their
academic work throughout the course of study
As said by Swami Vivekananda the Department
of EEE believed on these verses and made the program a grand success. Let’s
just recall the words of Swami Vivekananda.
All Power is within
you. You can do anything and everything. Believe in that.
As the name of their
association is POWER they made their program powerful and attractive
right from the inaugural function till the closure of the fest. The
programme started on 19th March, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. A variety of
Cultural programs were organized as a part of the Fest. The Chief guest and
Guest of Honour were Mrs. Shankar Kalavathi, HOD, EEE, JNTU,Kukkatpally &
Mr. Vivekananda, SE, THERMAL PROJECTS, AP GENCO.
Prizes were distributed to the students taking into consideration the
academic and cultural events. With the Assistance and guidance of all the
faculties of the department Vidyut-2009 was a grand success.
As a part of Technical Exhibition,
exhibits of following models were demonstrated and clearly explained by the
