About Us

Tirumala Engineering College was established in the academic year 2001-02 with a noble aim of imparting quality education to the students in the areas of Engineering encouraging both the urban and rural students and facilitating them in  improve their technical knowhow. It also  aspires that their students tend to prove themselves as Future Global Technological Leaders.

              It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Accredited by NAAC with “A” grade, approved by AICTE with Regd. No.730-50-340(E)/ET/2001, New Delhi, and Ministry of HRD & Govt of India recognized by Govt of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the fascinating and serene landscape of Bogaram village, Keesara Mandal, R.R Dist in an area of 12 acres in a pollution free environment.

CHAIRMAN

Tirumala College of Engineering is being run under the noble guidance of Mr.K.VidyaSagar Rao M.L.A.  of  Korutla, Karimnagar District. He is a renowned Politician, philanthropist and an Educationalist.  He is the guiding force for Tirumala Engineering College.

PRINCIPAL

          Dr. K. Dargaiah is the principal, with highest academic credentials of B.E. (Mech) Osmania University, M.S. (Mech) JNTU, Hyderabad and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology(Madras).He is an excellent academician and obtained degrees from the renowned universities of India. He worked in BHEL (R&D), Hyderabad for 35 years in the area of  Tribology and Machine Dynamics Laboratory and retired after superannuation in the year 2008.Many Research Scholars were awarded M.S. & M.Tech. degrees under his valuable supervision. His articles were published in various National and International Journals & conferences.

 Goals of TEC:

• Counseling and assisting the students to move into the career of their interest.

• Training the students so that they gain expertise in the field.

• Motivating the students depending upon their interests to move into the areas of Research.

• Achieving the departmental goals of  all the departments along with the common goals.

  Faculty :

Our faculty has achieved a high level of technical competence in their respective fields. They are committed, dedicated and richly experienced in teaching and mentoring students. They are recruited as per AICTE norms and ratified by the JNTUH.

 Class Rooms: 

The College has well equipped with spacious and well-ventilated class rooms that can comfortably accommodate 60 students each. Each classroom is decked with advanced pedagogical tools such as Overhead Projectors, C.C. Cameras etc. The classrooms are spacious enough to conduct various activities such as business games and simulations etc.

 General:

• The college has various committees like, Anti- Ragging Cell. Disciplinary Committee, Attendance Committee, Sports Committee, Counseling Cell and Students’ grievance cell to handle the problems of the students.

• It is mandatory for the I yr Engineering Students to wear College Uniform to avoid ragging problems faced by them.

• The College provides mineral water to the students and staff. Hostel facilities are also provided to it students.

• A stand-by generator is available during power failure.

• The Institute also appointed 30 vigilant security guards throughout the college to maintain discipline in the campus.

        Tirumala Engineering College is located in a lush green landscape of Bogaram Village in Keesara Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. It is spread into 12 acres of land and is free from pollution. It is exactly located at a distance of 14 Km from ECIL ‘X’ Roads and 20 Km from Uppal Ring Road.  It is well connected by the road to Hyderabad and Secunderabad via ECIL, Ghatkesar, Uppal and Shamirpet.
