As a
part of industrial institute Interaction, students are exposed to the actual
work environment of various industries. Hands on training are offered to the
students both on the conventional as well as in advanced techniques. There
are always some experiences in life which you cherish to remember. Some
special moments on some special occasions. One engineering student would
always remember the day on which he got his first job in life. On an average
forty percent of students are placed in MNCs and forty percent are moving
abroad for higher studies.
The cell Organizes
Campus interviews for final and pre final year students.
Guidance to students for competitive exams like GATE, GRE, TOEFL and CAT.
Arrange Placement, Project Work, Industrial Training and industrial visits
for the students. Motivate the Students and prepare for successful
performance at interviews. Group discussion on latest topics, Seminars on
latest topics and personality development programs.
The college is linked with Jawahar Knowledge Centre of JNTU
to updated students. JKC is an innovative and pioneering incentive that
brings the best students from all over the state. JKC accelerated learning
strategies with a mentor to student ratio of 1:5. Availability of trained
students is attracting with many companies to come to Andhra Pradesh. JKC
offers an opportunity to the students to handle live projects which follow
industry standards.
Training Programmes:
The Training and placement cell is headed by placement Officer who is
supported by six members, one from each engineering departments in addition
to student representatives from all engineering branches. The available
amenities include a spacious test hall, LCD, OHP, TV, VCR, Video Projectors,
a seminar hall for briefing and a conference hall for conducting interviews.
It is also in charge of corresponding with various companies with a view to
invite them to the college for campus recruitment. To get more placements the
cell is arranging Training Programs right from the first year to final year
with the help of reputed Pvt. Organizations. MOUs are being signed between
the college and M/s Globerna Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to provide required
Training in the following areas.
Language Skills (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading & Writing)
Communication Skills (Barriers, Effective Communication)
